· Supported the STATS SA Census Project from a Hardware perspective
· Chuwi and Samsung tablets that was used in the field for the census that needed any hardware repairs.
· Used an IT live system called Ragic to log support calls.
· Managed a team of five in the workshop to assist with the calls and repairs
· Managed a team of 20 runners (attending engineers) to assist all IT District Managers in different districts in South Africa to support and replace any faulty tablets.
· Managed the movement of all the live calls on Ragic support system and journals to be updated with every movement on each tablet
· Managed timesheets
· Managed invoices for payment and communicated with finance department
· Managed all completed calls and communicated with the war room at Vodacom
· Managed and kept track of shipping of the tablets to different districts with our stores and with Bex couriers.
· Supported and managed to enrol software on the tablets called SOTi (mobicontrol)
· Made appointments with IT District Manager to send runners out on site
· Assisted IT District Managers with faulty tablets were possible
· HLR sync to be done on faulty sim cards – this was communicated thru to Vodacom
· Stock control and stock movement was done
· Outcome of our deadlines, was for everything to happen and to be sorted out immediately
· Physical damage reports was done for the tablets
· Check Accuracy of customer’s information in order to process order.
· Capture prices accurately as per customer order.
· Ensuring that prices on customer order is accurate as per pricelist/quote.
· Capture correct customer information into the system.
· Prepare invoices and shipping documents.
· Adjust inventory records to reflect product movement
· Inspect outgoing work for compliance with customers specifications
· Escalate queries and information when orders would deplete available supplies.
· Recommend type of packaging or labelling needed on order
2. Payment Processing
· Ensure That Customers are informed of prices and the collection payment process.
· Ensure payment information is accurate for all customers
· Ensure that orders are processed, and receipts distributed in an accurate and timely manner
· Ensure that customers audits are conducted for credit worthiness and outstanding payments checked.
3. Shipping Management
· Liaise with the dispatch department and shipping vendors to ensure delivery according to customer needs.
· Liaise with sales, shipping, warehouse, or common carrier personnel to expedite or trace missing or delayed shipments
· Ensure that specified departments or units prepare and ship orders to designated locations
4. Customer Management
· Ensure that customers informed of expected delivery dates, when requested.
· Ensure the adequate follow up on orders
· Manage customer query resolution process
· Inform customers by mail or telephone of order information, such as unit prices, shipping dates, and any anticipated delays, when required needs
5. Reporting
· Prepare back order reports for management
· Review orders for completeness according to reporting procedures and investigate incomplete orders for further processing
6. Documentation / Administration
· Ensure that customers names, addresses, and billing information, product numbers, and specifications of items to be purchased are obtained and entered into order forms
