Marqeta, a fintech company transforming modern payment systems, is hiring an Events Coordinator to support the planning and execution of experiential marketing events, trade shows, conferences, and brand activations. This remote-friendly role works closely with cross-functional teams and external partners to ensure events run smoothly from start to finish.
- Event Support & Execution: Assist with all stages of event planning — logistics, timelines, materials, and onsite coordination.
- Vendor & Logistics Coordination: Work with external vendors and manage contracts, budgets, shipping, booth setups, and more.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal teams (marketing, sales, product, etc.) to align event objectives.
- Reporting & Optimization: Track event performance metrics and assist with post-event reporting and recommendations.
- Candidate Profile & Travel: Seeking someone with ~2–3 years’ event coordination experience, strong communication/organization skills, and willingness to travel (~20–40%).
